I didn't come into the world of dog training through a textbook. I came into it through a rescue dog who turned my world upside down (in the best and most challenging way possible!).
When my own dog came home, I quickly realised that the usual advice wasn't cutting it. I tried everything I could find, googled at midnight more times than I can count, and had more than a few car park tears after walks that went badly wrong. Sound familiar?
That experience set me on a path I never expected. I became completely fascinated by how dogs' brains work, why they do what they do, and most importantly, how we as owners can actually help them. One course turned into many, and now I am training to become a fully qualified Clinical Canine Behaviourist.
It means that when you work with me, you are not just getting a trainer. You are getting someone who genuinely gets it, combines lived experience with proper science-backed knowledge, and truly cares about helping you and your dog thrive together.
Behaviour that looks "bad" almost always has a reason behind it. My job is to help you find it.
I use positive, reward-based methods because the science backs it up and because dogs (and owners!) respond so much better to encouragement than punishment.
Living with a difficult dog is genuinely hard. I'm here for the whole journey, not just the training sessions.

I work with clients in person locally and virtually across the whole of the UK.
When I'm not working with dogs, you'll probably find me learning more about dogs! (Yes, I really am that obsessed.) I am a rescue dog owner myself, which means I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with a dog who has a past.
